Computex 2010 review

We actually just finished Computex 2010 in Taipei and had a very successful exhibition at Computex 2010, and our new products were really attractive to the visitors, and I like to summarize some more information between the lines for your reference:

1. Core2 Duo POS systems--------CARiSMA Pro( IT7000III) and IT-6092 mini systems

For your information, most of the POS exhibitors are limited to Intel ATOM 1.6G which is “ general system” which faces the strong price-competition and performance-concerned issues. Birch is the forerunner in POS market to release Core2 Duo system with outstanding feature as below:

3. High-performance barcode scanners: Discriminate all of the advanced barcode( GS!, RSS…) and user upgradable on firmware and interface after their purchase.

BT491: Tiny wireless barcode scanner with memory, rechargeable battery.

BF481: Heavy duty Flash Turbo barcode scanner, with Auto –sensor and industrial function settings.

FS499: heavy duty long range fixed CCD canner for ‘ Kiosk and POS, with Auto-sensor function.

Cebit 2010 and Euro CIS

Cebit 2010 and Euro CIS had finalized already. We would like to inform you the latest marketing info as below.

In our view, base on high attention in space and decoration for the whole shop design, People prefer to place the stylish POS only. Otherwise, they would prefer let it mounting under the desk ,then the clear table with screen only.

How is your idea in mini system? We believe Mini system will be very potential product., as there are not so many competitors in the market.

Furthermore, base on smaller and smaller cashier space, it would be the good choice for people.

[The label printer for strip printer]

It is glad to inform you BD525D, it is designed specifically to meet the needs of stripe printing, included the small label for hospitality, ID control , wristbands for healthcare , entertainment wristband ticketing applications.

Furthermore, lot of applications actually don't need to printer the label until 4 inch, Then BD525D could be the good choice with much better cost than the normal desk top models.

For your info, we got another new department store project of Carisma. The department store is owned by the biggest retail group in Taiwan and the installation would be nearby 101 building in Taipei. It should be another valuable reference for us. We sincerely think now is the good time for Birch.
